With an Adaptive Climate Controller installed on HVAC systems in classrooms, teachers do not need to compete with the disturbing racket of heating and air conditioning fans turning on and off, when presenting their lessons to students. Information is more accurately conveyed to students, and their questions and responses are more easily heard by the entire class. The ACC uses real time, environmental feedback to intelligently manage the indoor climate. Gradually increasing and decreasing the speed of the climate control fan to match the temperature in the environment, the ACC reduces the overwhelming noise created by sudden “cold starts” and unnecessary high fan speeds, common to most systems.
